This event is being held to remember our brother Ralph W. Skovira, and is a benefit of the Chestnut Ridge Community VFC, in which Ralph was a member of and very passionate about.  Ralph joined the department at the age of 16 years old.  Ralph tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident in October of 2012 in Donegal Township at the young age of 22.  The loss of this brother has left a hole in the heart of our department.  We hold this event to always remember him and remind ourselves how short life can be.  It is our hope to share with everyone the importance of Ralph’s life and ensure that his memory is never forgotten by the members of this department and the community members he served.
